The new CA Foundation Syllabus 2024, announced by ICAI, will be followed in the upcoming June 2024 CA Foundation exam. The foundation exam is being conducted for the first time under the revised plan implemented last year.

CA Foundation Details For Exams
The 2024 CA Foundation exam has four papers. Papers 1 and 2 are subjective, and Papers 3 and 4 are objective. Each paper has 100 possible marks, for a total of 400 possible marks for the whole CA Foundation exam.
Only objective papers are subject to negative marking, which deducts one-fourth of a point for each incorrect response. Except for Section (b) of Paper 2, which requires responses in English, applicants can pick between Hindi and English during the offline exam.
Duration of the exam Paper 1 and 2 will be of 3 hours and Paper 3 and 4 will be of 2 hours.
