CA Course

The CA course, administered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), is divided into three levels: Foundation, Intermediate, and Final. This is designed to provide students with extensive knowledge about CA Course Details in taxation, accounting, auditing, finance, and related areas. Eligibility Criteria of CA Course

Academic Qualifications

To enroll in the CA course, candidates must have completed their 10+2 examination from a recognized board. Additionally, graduates or postgraduates in commerce, arts, or science can also apply.

Registration Process

Prospective candidates need to register with the ICAI to commence the CA course subject. The registration process involves submitting the required documents and fees to the institute.

Structure of CA Course Details

Foundation Course

The Foundation course comprises four papers covering fundamental concepts of accounting, economics, law, and quantitative aptitude.

Intermediate Course

The Intermediate course consists of two groups, each containing four papers. It delves deeper into advanced accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management.

Final Course

The Final course is the last stage of the CA journey, consisting of two groups with eight papers. It involves advanced study in subjects like strategic financial management, corporate and allied laws, and advanced auditing.

Duration of CA Course 

The duration of the CA course typically ranges from three to five years, depending on the candidate’s pace of completion and success in examinations.

Examination Pattern 

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will conduct examinations for foundation and intermediate courses three times in a year. Till now, the institute has been conducting these examinations twice a year.

Passing Criteria

  • A candidate must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper.
  • An aggregate of 55% marks is required in all four papers combined.
  • Candidates who score below the specified passing criteria set by ICAI will not be considered as pass.

CA Course Fees

Registration Fees

The registration fees for the CA course are available on the official ICAI website . The registration fee is Rs. 18,000 for both groups and Rs. 13,000 for a single group, and the process is conducted online.

Examination Fees

The examination fee or application fee of CA Final is ₹ 3300/- for both groups and ₹ 1800/- is for a single group.

CA Intermediate Coaching Fees (First group) Rs. 55,000/-

CA Intermediate Coaching Fees (Second group) Rs. 50,000/-
